Nicky and Georgina Married!
Westlife's Nicky Byrne and Georgina Ahern may be planning a sleek and sophisticated wedding in France but when they married on Tuesday at a registry office it was anything but a fancy affair. Both Nicky and Georgina arrived separately dressed casually with Nicky wearing jeans and a baseball cap while Georgina wore jeans and a floral top. In a break with tradition, Nicky kept Georgina waiting 20 minutes. He finally turned up in an Opel Astra with his mum in the back. Nicky was talking on the phone and tried to shield his face from the crowd of fans. But they pushed forward past his heavies and surrounded the car. The whole ceremony took about ten minutes and the couple left separately. Georgina's mother Miriam attended the ceremony as did Nicky's father and brother. The happy couple registered their marriage in a registry office in Wicklow, Ireland.
